The Braves improved to 8-4 behind the strong pitching of Aaron Stoien in an 11-1 win over the Danville Tigers. Stoien allowed one run on two hits and struck out six against no walks over six innings for the win.

Marcelus Bayless singled twice and scored three runs and Ryan Mathia drove in two runs in the win. Ian Clutter and Tyler Fitzgerald also singled in the win.

Jack Walker struck out 12 and allowed two hits to lead the Angels to a 5-4 win over the Padres. Andrew Walker singled twice, Luke Hottinger tripled and drove in two runs, and Brandon Zaunbrecher doubled in the win.

Jason Campbell doubled and Eric Martin singled and scored two runs in the loss.
