Brad Bergesen allowed one earned run in his major league debut, Aubrey Huff homered twice and the Baltimore Orioles beat the Chicago White Sox 10-3 on Tuesday night to end a five-game losing streak. 

John Danks is doing his best to assert himself as the ace of the Chicago White Sox pitching staff. 

Brad Bergesen spent much of his life striving to pitch in the major leagues, then had his debut stalled by a rain delay of 1 hour, 38 minutes. 

Nothing has ever come easy for DeWayne Wise. 

The Detroit Tigers and Chicago White Sox will play a doubleheader July 24 to make up for their postponed April 14 game.

The Chicago White Sox designated right-hander Mike MacDougal for assignment Tuesday and recalled reliever Jack Egbert from Triple-A Charlotte. 

Nick Swisher only had one season of manager Ozzie Guillen before being traded to the Yankees in the winter, but that should have been plenty of time for him to learn that it's easy to say the wrong thing and get Guillen on the attack.
