BOSTON (AP) - The Chicago White Sox recalled reliever Boone Logan from Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday.
Logan was optioned to Chicago's top farm club on Aug. 10 after a 12-game stretch in which he allowed 17 earned runs in eight innings. The left-hander is 2-3 with a 5.36 ERA in 48 games with the White Sox this season.Logan was 0-1 with a 6.00 ERA in nine innings over five games with the Knights.
Logan takes the roster spot of right-hander Lance Broadway, who was optioned to Charlotte on Saturday night.
