Example:While both atheists and agnostics may choose not to believe in a deity, an agnostic may simply lack sufficient evidence to confirm the existence of deities.

Definition:The view that the existence of God, of the divine or the supernatural is either unknown or unknowable.

Example:The philosopher suggested that humans cannot truly be atheists or theists, but should adapt a pantheistic worldview.

Definition:The belief that God is the equivalent of the universe, or that the universe is God; the divine is everything and nothing exists outside of it.

Example:Agnosticism does not equate to atheism; an agnostic might simply believe that it is impossible for humans to know whether or not a deity exists.

Definition:A person who believes that the existence of God or the nature of things beyond the universe is unknown and perhaps unknowable.
